Custom Fireplace Media Wall

This living room had a bare wall and a request: make it the heart of the house. We framed out a full media wall from scratch, set an electric fireplace into the base, finished the surround in stacked stone veneer, and mounted the TV with every wire hidden inside the wall.

The before photo shows day one — framing laid out on the floor of this Naperville home. The after shows the finished wall, fireplace lit. A weekend-scale project that completely changes the room.
