Effective September 2, 2026 · Northern Illinois Handyman LLC, Sycamore, IL
These terms cover your use of northilhandyman.com and describe, in plain language, how quotes and service work with Northern Illinois Handyman LLC (“we,” “us”). By using the site or requesting service, you agree to them.
Quote requests through the website are free and carry no obligation. Numbers discussed before a written quote are rough estimates only — the written, itemized quote we send is the one that counts, and work begins after you approve it. If we discover conditions during a job that meaningfully change the scope (hidden water damage, for example), we'll stop and discuss it with you before proceeding — no surprise charges.
We schedule approved work for a day that works for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we appreciate at least 48 hours' notice. Please make sure we can access the work area at the scheduled time, and secure pets during the visit.
Payment terms appear on your written quote or invoice. Most small jobs require no deposit; larger projects may require one, which will be stated in the quote before you approve it.
We stand behind our work — if something we did isn't right, tell us and we'll make it right. Materials are covered by their manufacturers' warranties. This commitment doesn't cover damage from misuse, later alterations by others, or conditions outside the work we performed.
The content on this site — text, photos of our work, and graphics — belongs to Northern Illinois Handyman LLC and may not be reused without permission. Project photos shown are of our real work; reviews shown are collected through Google.
The site links to and uses third-party services (like our quoting form and review widget). Their sites and services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
The website is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for damages arising from use of the website itself. Terms specific to a construction project — including insurance and any lien rights under Illinois law — are set out in your written quote or contract for that project.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
We may update these terms from time to time; the current version will always be posted here. Questions: help@northilhandyman.com or (331) 265-7388.
